Over 100 times in the bible it reads “one another.” Love one another, pray for one another, serve one another, etc, etc. We are not meant to do this on our own. Small groups provide a network of brothers and/or sisters to walk with us on this journey. There is such healing that takes place in the context of these small groups as the Holy Spirit works in and through our sharing and listening to one another.
OPEN SHARE GROUPS
These one hour meetings on Monday nights are an overflow from the worship time. Many things we hear in the worship service strike something in our heart and it is good to share those with other friends. These groups are gender and issue specific. If there is not a group for your specific issue, then feel free to go to our Life Issues open share group. Also, if you are new to CR, make sure you start with the "Newcomer" open share group, so we can connect with you and help get you connected.
Note: Anyone can go into any group of the same gender and share whatever your issues are with others. This is an important part of the recovery journey, but make sure to follow the "5 Guidelines" during open sharing.
